In redesigning Marjorie’s site, creative director Jessica Boylston-Fagonde saw a need for more engaging, SEO-friendly copy and brought me on board. I began with the headline you see on the home page: “Choose wellness. Live better in your body.” Then I created names for Marjorie’s wellness programs and evolved her bio from a bland rundown of facts into an inspiring, genuine story of transformation.
Results: Marjorie now sells out her yoga retreats far in advance. She reports a spike in her site traffic, with many retreat sign-ups originating from Google searches. Ask any yoga teacher: people finding your retreat online (there’s tons of them) and then signing up on the basis of your site is a big deal. Mission accomplished!
